What is LIMBO®?
LIMBO® is a competitions community that connects people with friends, old and new. You can play against each other for amazing prizes in our award-winning LIMBO AUCTIONS®, be the first to know about competitions and promotions, set-up your own ‘My Limbo’ profile and socialise in online forums.
Who can LIMBO®?
Any Australian resident can join, you just need to be over 18 and have a valid email address.
How much does it cost?

free to join and you get free credits every day to play with our rewards program!
LIMBO® Rewards gives you free credits just for logging in, reading emails, referring friends, completing surveys and clicking links.
To maximise your credits, you can upgrade to premium
VIP Memberships or purchase
recharge packs.
How can we afford to give so many free credits away?
We can give away free credits thanks to our generous reward and auction sponsors who subsidise the cost of credits with advertising in the community.
What is a reverse auction?
In a reverse auction – known here as a LIMBO AUCTION® – it’s the lowest unique bid that wins, not the highest bid. The lowest unique bid is the lowest amount that only 1 member has bid.

Is LIMBO® just about reverse auctions?
Not at all! LIMBO® is an active community of people just like you. It’s about connecting with friends, meeting new ones, hearing about heaps of competitions and promotions happening all over the web and generally sharing and contributing to the community. LIMBO® is a safe, fun and rewarding place to socialise (and the bonus is, you win too!).

How do I contact LIMBO®?
Do LIMBO AUCTION® items come with a manufacturer’s warranty?
Unlike some auction sites, all items on LIMBO® are brand name, brand new and come with a full manufacturer’s warranty. So far we’ve auctioned over $350,000 worth of amazing items for just over $2,000!
What are credits?
Credits are the ‘LIMBO® currency’. You use them to bid in our reverse auctions and to redeem other great prizes. Your credits are stored in your BidBank™ so you’ll always know how many you have.
What is a BidBank™?
Every LIMBO® member has a private BidBank™. It’s the place to view your credit balance and bidding history.
How do I get credits?
As soon as you join we’ll give you
free credits. More free credits will keep coming your way every time you log in, and we’ll give you even more if you participate in the free
LIMBO® Rewards offer.
Another way to increase your credits is to purchase value-for-money
recharge packs or upgrade to a premium
VIP Membership. This is a way of topping up your account and maximising the number of free credits you earn.
What happens to my bid credits if I cancel my membership?
Even if you
cancel your membership you can still log in for the duration of your membership to use your remaining credits.
Can my bid credits be redeemed for cash?
No. And with all the fantastic prizes you could win, why would you want to?!

Why do I need a membership if LIMBO® is free?
You need to become a member to keep track of your credits in your account (BidBank™) and to set up a ‘My Limbo’ profile.
What does it cost for membership?
It doesn’t have to cost you anything – you can opt for a free casual membership with the freedom to pay as you go.
Can I change my plan?
Yes! You can upgrade your plan at any time and any credits you have left on your existing plan will be rolled over into your new plan.
How do I cancel my membership?
Simply choose ‘My Membership and Message Preferences’ within the community menu and follow the instructions. You can cancel your membership any time.

How do I win?
Thousands of dollars worth of amazing auctions happen every week, you just have to have the lowest unique bid when the auction closes and the prize is yours!
Even if you don’t win the auction there are loads of instant win prizes given away everyday. In fact, everything you do at LIMBO® gives you a chance to win prizes instantly!
How many bids can I place in a single auction?
The usual limit is 100 but it varies from auction to auction. Each auction will display the maximum amount of bids you can place.
Do I get notified if the status of my bid changes during an auction?
Yes. We give you free bid status alerts via email depending on your account preferences.
How do I change my account preferences?
To change your account preferences simply choose ‘My Membership and Message Preferences’ within the community menu and follow the instructions.
What are LIMBO® Locators and how do I use them?
LIMBO® Locators are a useful tool that helps you to find where the lowest unique bid is.
How do I know if I have won an auction?
The current winning bidder is displayed in the auction details. If you’re the lowest unique bidder at the end of the auction, we’ll contact you within 2 business days by phone to verify your eligibility.
How do I pay for goods I’ve won?
You will need to pay for your prize by direct bank deposit within 14 business days of being notified of your win. We will provide bank account information to you.
How much does it cost for delivery?
If you provide us with a high quality digital photo of yourself and a testimonial to use in our promotions, we’ll delivery your goods for free!
I don’t want to provide a photo and testimonial – how much is shipping?
In this case you’ll need to pay all delivery costs. LIMBO® usually delivers through Australia Post. Try their
delivery cost calculator (use Lodgement Postcode 4556).
When will my prize be delivered?
We’ll dispatch your prize for delivery to you within 30 business days after we receive full and clear payment for the goods.
I have forgotten my password, what do I do?
If you’ve forgotten your password, no problem – simply select the ‘Forgot Your Password’ link on the homepage. You’ll need to answer security information to reset your password.
How do I upload or change my profile pic?
Personalise your profile with your favourite pic. To upload or change your profile pic, select ‘My Limbo’ from the Community menu and follow the instructions.
How do I make my profile private?
Having a private profile means only your Buddies will be able to view it. In the community you’ll be identified by your LIMBO® ID only. To change your profile to private just log in to your account, select ‘My Limbo’ from the Community menu and follow the instructions.
How do I change my account details?
To change your details simply log in to your account and select ‘My Limbo’ from the Community menu.
How do I change my credit card details?

How do I sign in as a member?
To sign in, enter your member login and password in the login section at the top of the website (in the green box).
How do I delete my account?
To permanently delete your LIMBO® account, which includes removing all your profile information, bidding history and Buddies – log in to your account and click on ‘My Limbo‘ in the Community menu and follow the instructions.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We currently accept payment via VISA, MasterCard, PayPal and Direct Bank Deposit.
How does LIMBO® protect security of my credit card details?
Your security is as important to us as it is to you. All payment information is processed via our secure server and, as added security, LIMBO® doesn't store your credit card details or any other financial information about you. We use PayPal, one of the most trusted names in online security, for processing online payments.
Is my personal information secure and private?
Yes. We respect
your privacy and all information we collect, either explicitly or implicitly, is used exclusively by us and is never disclosed to any other party. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
How do I report unwelcome behaviour from other members?
We take your online safety very seriously. Activities like identity theft, cyber bulling and copyright violation are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
LIMBO® has a ‘1 strike and your out’ policy which means any member found to be in breach of our
Code of Conduct will be permanently banned from the community. Contact our Customer Care team on

Someone has threatened me in the community, what do I do?
The first thing to do is remove them from your Buddies list so they will not be able to contact you via the LIMBO® community. You should then contact our Customer Care team on

email us so we can investigate the incident. If you feel there is a threat to your safety, you should contact the police in your state or territory.
Can I buy advertising or place my products in an auction?

Do I need any special software to play LIMBO® online?
No special software is required. All you need is a web browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox) and the latest Adobe Flash player (version 9) or above. Our site will automatically detect if you have this software installed and, if not, will ask if you would like to download the free installation file.
